How to get edits

Edits are something that ALOT of people want... So i decided to help ppl out with this

1, THIS IS ILLEGAL!! But im using them for over 5 years and i never got banned (cuz they can't see if your using it)
2, YOU WONT BE ABLED TO POST SCREENSHOTS EVERYWERE ANYMORE
3, If your graphic card is low you can get problems with lagg etc.
4, But there are also edits that solve laggs like you might have on luckytime (Then they made a new smaller luckytime) and it still looks good.
5, IF YOUR NEW TO THIS THEN MAKE A BACKUP FILE OF CONQUER ONLINE.
I personaly use it becouse i LOVE to change how my CO works ingame, and beleve me... you can change EVERYTHING

Here are some edits i got.

Im here to help people to get it if they want it.

Walktrough:
Get a site to get your edits from.
The ones i use are:
- http://sirmagusmods.darkbb.com
- http://www.elitepvpers.de/forum/co2-weapon-armor-effects-interface-edits/

It actually shows itself.

When you found a edit and you want to use it then this is what your gunna do.
- download it from the thread. (press thanks to thank the one who made it... be polite)
- go to your CO folder (You will probebly find it in C/Program files/ Conquer online 2.)
- go to your C3 folder.

And there it all starts.

When you got the downloaded mod on your (for excample) desktop, you unpack it with winrar. download at www.winrar.com lol.
Once its unpacked you will see the maps where it has to go to. like for excample:

You downloaded "cool new luckytime edit"
Open the map and it will say :"C3"
Open C3 and it will say : "Effect" (Then you follow that on your CO folder.)
Open effect and it will say : "2NDMetempsychosis" (Open that folder too on your CO folder)
Then you just copy all the files in that folder (like DDS etc) and you put them in that CO folder.

REMEMBER TO CLOSE CONQUER ONLINE B4 DOING THIS.

It can also happen that you got a texture AND a effect map in it, then you just follow the same steps with the texture map. Open in the CO folder what you open in the edit folder and then just copy paste it over the other things.
